About In Control

In Control Crash Prevention Training is a the best way to protect a both new and experienced drivers from death, injury or jail, as a result of being involved in an automobile accident. The company, founded in 2003, offers closed-course, hands-on crash prevention training. The course is designed to not only teach participants the appropriate way to respond to unavoidable, real-life road situations, but to also instill lifelong attitudes that make safer drivers.

In Control was formed by professional racecar driver, Brandon Bogart in an effort to lower the 93% rate of teenage accidents caused by driver error. With traditional drivers education classes, 43% of first year drivers will be involved in an automobile accident their first year driving, 37% their second year*. In Control's training has been found to reduce crashes in new drivers by 70%

In Control's demanding hands-on approach combined with group discussions and classroom learning originated from a training program that Bogart helped develop for state police agencies, ambulance crews and fire truck drivers. The training program, adapted to meet the needs of less experienced drivers, goes beyond traditional driver training classes and teaches participants how to avoid, react and respond skillfully to emergency situations.

For inexperienced drivers:
In Control’s program bridges the gap between a parent’s worst fear and a child’s desire for independence by allowing young drivers to make supervised, controlled mistakes and learn from them in a safe environment with skilled and experienced coaches. New drivers emerge with renewed confidence, a sense of responsibility and the ability to respond to the unavoidable. And they live to tell about it.

For experienced drivers:
Even though car crashes are the #1 cause of death under age 45, the vast majority of drivers receive no additional training after they get their first drivers license. While experience plays an important role in keeping you safe, it's crucial to learn skills necessary to avoid crashes and capitalize on the new technologies being offered in today's vehicles. In addition to qualifying you for auto insurance discounts up to 10%, our training will provide you with instinctual reactions to real world dangers - and ultimately keep you safe on the roads.
